Other panels can cool rapidly during windy conditions because the individual flow tubes aren’t insulated by each other.
The flow tubes (104 of them) are connected for insulation so that they stay warm longer. This patented design also allows our panels to withstand freezing conditions better than collectors with round flow tubes that cannot expand or change shape.
Our collectors contain 35% more polypropylene and UV stabilizers than any other panel. This means that our panels have a much longer life expectancy than the competition. In fact, our panels are so well built that they can withstand the strength of a 150 mph hurricane.

How It Works
1. Pool pump moves the water to the solar collectors
2. Cool water enters the solar collector from the bottom. Water is heated as it flows upwards through the collector tubes to the top header pipe.
3. The warm water is then returned to your pool.
5. This process continues until the desired water temperature is reached.
Our pool panels come in two header sizes and three standard lengths. Once you purchase your system from us we will send you warranty info, a manual and certifications if desired.
The panels are very easy to install and you can do it yourself in 2-3 days. You can either install them on your roof or build a rack. We can also send you a design for building a rack. Just let us know.
If you would rather have professional installation, then we can give you some local recommendations as well.
BASIC Required Products for One Pool System:

2. One collector kit for each panel
3. One system kit for each system
4. One split kit system for each row of panels as well as for extending headers in case there is a vent between panels
5. At least two check valves (one to prevent back wash into your filter, another on the return line to your pool. You may in addition decide to get ball valves for isolation - see manual)
6. One vacuum relief valve normally placed at the highest point above your feed line)
7. Enough strapping for three rows to hold the panels down
8. Automatic control system if you desire an automation or a 3 way valve for manual use.

What you need to know before you order:
SOLAR POOL HEATING SYSTEMS
In order to create your system you need the following:(once you decide what you need and the quantity then head on over to our shipping area.
1.Chose the header size
Either 2" or 1.5" (if you have over 10 panels, it is recommended to have 2" headers in place. If your plumbing is 1.5", you can use a reducer to go to 2" or vice versa. We recommend using schedule 40 black PVC piping if you can find it).
2. Chose the size of the panels
Either standard 4x12, 4x10 or 4x8 (these panels are made from polypropylene and are generally black, however for a larger fee, Terra Cotta panels are also available. We could also provide panels that are 4x11, 4x9 and 4x7 etc. with either 4 foot or 2 foot headers. These are all special order and may be of higher in cost...please email or call for more info) We recommend going 4x12 if you can, but don't forget that you can mix and match however if you do so try to keep the rows the same size if possible. It will be easier and less of a headache for you. In order to figure the size, you should also look at the size of your roof to see how much space you have. Don't forget that the headers are 50.75". If you can't fit on a roof and rather do a rack, we can send you a design for the rack. Also try to face these panels south for a 75% coverage. If not you may need to consider 100% coverage.
3.Calculate the square footage of your pool surface area.
4. Based on the surface area and the size of panels, you should be able to figure out how many PANELS you need and in what size.
SIZING and how to calculate how many panels you need: First you must find the dimensions of your pool in square footage: This is X (your total square footage) Then divide X by the total square footage of the panel size that will fit your roof (either 4x12, 4x10 or 4x8) so if for instance your pool's total surface area is 400 square feet and you desire 4x12 panels (because of roof space...you need to make sure these panels fit properly on your roof, you don't want more, you don't want less), then you divide 400 by 48 which is about 8. This means that you now need 8 panels to properly heat your pool. It is also referred to as a 100% coverage. Keep in mind that not every area or climate requires a 100% coverage. Naturally the more panels you have, the hotter your pool will get. Generally speaking if your panels face south then a 75% coverage is recommended so in our case instead of 8 panels...it will be 75% of that which is 8 x .75 = 6...you will therefore need 6 panels for a 75% coverage. Once you figure out how many panels you need then go on over to our Shopping area and start saving by getting our panels.
5.For each panel you have selected you will need one COLLECTOR KIT (includes 2 couplings and 4 hose clamps with screws). So if you have 2 panels, you need 2 kits.
6. For each system you need one SYSTEM KIT (includes 2 CPVC grey adapters as well as 4 couplings and hose clamps with screws). Regardless of how many panels, you still only need one System Kit for your system.
7. If you have 2 rows or a separation on the header connection, for instance because there is a vent blocking your way, you need a SPLIT KIT SYSTEM (includes 4 CPVC gray adapters along with couplings, hose clamps and screws)
8. You need STRAPPING. Our strapping comes in 100 foot rolls. You need to figure at least 15 feet per panel so multiply 15 by the number of panels and you will have the correct amount of feet. Just keep in mind if you have 140 feet, you still need to purchase 2 rows of strapping since they cannot be cut and are 100 feet long.
9. You need one VACUUM RELIEF VALVE. Please specify if it is for 2" header or 1.5" header. This is typically put at the highest point of the panels normally above the feed line.
10. You need to divert your water over to your panels and there are two ways of doing this. One is AUTOMATIC (Automation comes with control box, actuator, 3 way valve and 2 sensors) or MANUAL (comes with 3 way valve). You need to decide which way to go. We recommend Automatic either Goldline or Pentair brands.
11. Chose number of CHECK VALVES (prevent back wash)

Warranty
Our Panels:
Our Warranty is 10 years. There are other companies that may offer more and may have "repairable panels", but we have found from our experience that repairs don't last long...a repair on a pool panel is just a temporary fix that results in the loss of water flow on the panel. We have seen panels from our competitors where more than half of the channels are blocked off in "repair". This method surely reduces the efficiency of the panel and as a result you will not get the performance you desire and if your warranty claim is ever accepted then you still need to pay for the shipping. Our panels are not repairable as we believe repairs do more harm to the panels per our explanation here. We simply believe in replacing the whole panel and giving you a brand new one. Please see warranty pamphlet for what is and is not acceptable warranty. All warranties are to be directly dealt with through our manufacturer. Their address is included in the warranty pamphlet you received at the time of purchase. In case of a warranty, contact the manufacturer, Techno-Solis direct and explain the problem and how it occurred. You will be asked to cut the 4 corners of the bad panel and send it to their plant. All you have to do next is to specify the panel size and pay for the shipping of the new panels back to you.

All warranties are to be dealt direct through the manufacturer. Please contact the manufacturer of all other products directly.
Return Policy
We have a strict no return policy so please make sure that you are positive with your order before submitting it. All sales are final and no changes can be made when orders are finalized and processed through our site. Make sure you contact us if you have any questions before you process your order, we will help you through the order. We are here to help you answer questions that you may have and will contact you right away. If you are not sure, don't order until you have spoken to us. Because of the size and high shipping charges of the panels, absolutely no returns are accepted. Non Refundable service fees of 25% from total are applied.
Shipping
Shipping of panels may take 2-4 weeks to reach you from time of order (should be less normally but depends on high season, usually April-July, could take longer so please order ahead of time if you are looking to get your panels sooner). Panels are either crated or come in individual boxes. Smaller products are usually shipped in 1-3 business days. Please do not include P.O boxes as your delivery address as some carriers don't deliver to those addresses and therefore your item will not ship. If there is a damaged product because of shipping then you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Please check everything right after delivery to make sure all items are accounted for and in good condition. Please take accurate pictures and notes as to the reasons why you think there was damage if damage has occured. Any other problems need to also be notified to us within 48 hrs. Please note that if shipping outside of mainland USA, you must notify us prior to ordering to get a shipping quote otherwise a shipping surcharge may be applied to your order.
